Inspired by the 18th hexagram of the I-Ching, "Gyu" (Mountain-Wind), this evocative work explores the delicate threshold between stagnation and metamorphosis.
In ancient symbology, "Wind at the foot of the Mountain" depicts a valley where air cannot circulate, leading to decay and the breeding of pests. Liang Jiamin translates this philosophical concept into a visual narrative of social and spiritual inertia. While humanity often turns to the divine during times of unrest, the artist deliberately veils the forms of Vajra and Bodhisattvas behind a dark, swirling gale. This striking imagery suggests that spiritual expectation alone cannot resolve the miasma of reality.
The protagonist of the piece is a fox, rendered with startling vitality. Traditionally a scavenger, the fox here serves as a "Transmuter." By consuming the remnants of decay, it processes the stagnant energy of the past and converts it into the "Revolutionary Power" required for a new era.
Utilising the raw, tactile power of Iwa-enogu (mineral pigments), Liang creates an atmospheric tension that is both ancient and urgent. This painting is not merely a depiction of a myth; it is a sanctuary for reflection, reminding the "conscious seeker" that true innovation often begins by confronting and consuming the corruption that holds us back.

While we strive for absolute color accuracy, slight visual variations may occur between the physical print and your screen. This is due to differing brightness, contrast, and color calibration settings across various devices.
Furthermore, the interior mockups on our website are for illustrative purposes only. A unique charm of original art and professional Giclée prints is how they interact with their environment; the artwork will shift beautifully under different lighting conditions—such as warm ambient lamps or cool natural daylight.
